Country artist Kip Moore just released his sixth studio album, Solitary Tracks, on Friday (February 28). Moore’s breakthrough debut single, “Something ‘Bout a Truck,” topped Billboard’s Country Airplay chart over a decade ago, which he followed with four more Top 5 hits, but the singer parted ways with his longtime label, MCA Nashville, in 2024. That break gave Moore the freedom to record whatever and however he wanted, which resulted in a sprawling 23-song album broken up into rock, singer-songwriter, folk-rock, and classic country sections. Moore co-wrote nearly every song on the album, with the exception of the introspective “Bad Spot,” a solo write from Casey Beathard, who also contributed to seven other songs on Solitary Tracks. Moore will launch the Solitary Tracks World Tour this spring, which will take him across Europe and the U.S., where he will be joined by Billy Currington. (Billboard)
