Gov. Evers appoints two people to DATCP Board, one from Dodgeville

Gov. Tony Evers on Tuesday announced two appointments to the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection Board. Evers reappointed Cindy Brown and appointed Andy Hatch. Their terms will run through May 1, 2031. Brown is the chairman of the board for Chippewa Valley Bean, and served as kidney bean provider’s president form 2011-2025. She has also worked to promote the health benefits of pulses. Hatch is the owner of Uplands Cheese in Dodgeville. He studied Dairy Science at the University of Wisconsin and apprenticed in Norway, France, Italy, and England.
