Preliminary hearing set for father of Abundant Life Christian School shooter

A preliminary hearing has been set for July for the father of the Abundant Life Christian School shooter who killed two people and hurt six more, according to online court records. 42-year-old Jeffrey Rupnow’s preliminary hearing is set for July 24. He first appeared in court just before 2 p.m. on Monday. Rupnow is charged with two counts of intentional sale of a dangerous weapon to a person under 18, along with contributing to child delinquency. Earlier in May, Rupnow was released on bond. Rupnow’s daughter was the shooter who killed two and injured six others at Abundant Life Christian School in December. The shooter died by suicide at the school. One of the victims injured was still in critical condition as of May 8.
