On Tuesday at 9:52 a.m., The Grant County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a vehicle vs. Buggy accident, on Highway 61, in the Township of Marion. After a brief investigation it was determined that 69-year-old Gail Wetter of Boscobel, was traveling south in her car when her rear driver side tire blew out. When the tire blew out, it caused Wetter to lose control of her vehicle and she crashed into the back of a horse and buggy that was being operated by 24-year-old Enos Kinsinger of Boscobel. Wetter’s vehicle ended up on the east side of the roadway and the buggy was completely destroyed, and ended up on the west edge of the roadway. Wetter complained of minor injuries on scene and was transported by Boscobel EMS to Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital. Neither Kinsinger or his horse were injured in the incident. Wetter’s vehicle was removed from the scene. Wetter was cited for Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance.
