Teamsters Union Local 120 and the city of Dubuque have signed a new five-year collective bargaining agreement that will cover 100 to 110 employees in four departments. The new wage structure raises wages by an average of 3.24% starting July 1, followed by an across-the-board 3% raise in 2026 and a 2.75% raise in 2027. The contract runs until June 30, 2030, but wage increases for the last two years of the contract are left open for future negotiation. The workers in the agreement include the bulk of the Public Works and Parks and Recreation departments, as well as a smaller number of employees at the airport and transportation services, excluding bus drivers.
