Madison man arrested following attempted theft in Dodgeville

On Wednesday at 10:45 PM The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a male subject attempting retail theft from a business on E Leffler St in the City of Dodgeville. The subject then fled the scene on foot and was later located by Dodgeville Police Department with assistance from Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies. 26-year-old Aaron M Faga of Madison was arrested on an out-of-state warrant. He was transported to the Iowa County Jail where he is currently in custody awaiting transfer.
