A Hanover man was arrested following a one-vehicle crash in rural Hanover, IL. On Tuesday at 7:17 A.M., the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s received a call reporting a possible impaired driver traveling on South Steele Road in rural Hanover. 50-year-old Craig B. Bourrette of Hanover was traveling south on Steele Road and it was reported he was swerving and entered the ditch multiple times. Bourrette entered a ditch on the east side of the roadway, went through a fence, drove about 1/10 of a mile through a cornfield, through a yard, and back onto the roadway before he struck a bridge abutment. Bourrette was transported to Midwest Medical Center by Elizabeth EMS for non-life-threatening injuries. Bourrette is Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Crash and Transport/Possess Alcoholic Liquor in Motor Vehicle among other traffic infractions.
