On Friday at 7:25 PM The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a tree on fire with an electrical line tangled in it on E Clyde St in the Village of Avoca. Avoca Fire Department and Avoca EMS responded to the scene and the fire was safely extinguished. Alliant Energy also responded to the scene. There were no injuries reported resulting from this incident.
