West Allis man arrested in Dodgeville following vehicle theft

One person was arrested following a vehicle theft in Dodgeville. On Monday at 4:13 PM Iowa County Communications Center took a report of a stolen vehicle at a business on North Johns Street in Dodgeville. Dodgeville Police and Iowa County Sheriff’s Office units responded to the area. The vehicle was located unoccupied near a business on Highway 23. Iowa County Sheriff’s Office K9 Sam was deployed and successfully tracked the suspect to another business on Highway 23. As a result, 33-year-old Kenneth D Westfall of West Allis was arrested for Driving or Operating a Motor Vehicle w/o Owner’s Consent. Westfall was transported to the Iowa County Jail, where he was booked and remains.
