Monona man arrested following pursuit

 Authorities said a driver led law enforcement on a pursuit in southwest Wisconsin. 38-year-old Brandon E. Switzer of Monona, was arrested at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday along Highway 151 in Iowa County on charges of failure to stop for an officer, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department. A press release states that Switzer was traveling north on Highway 151 in Lafayette County when a sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop him for speeding. Switzer continued driving into Iowa County, where he eventually pulled over. Switzer also was cited with speeding.
