Zach John King was tapped as a surprise opening act for Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour three days before the shows in Glendale, Arizona on July 18-19. The young country star must have made quite an impression on Wallen during his first set, because on night two, the chart-topping country superstar brought King out to perform his 2017 hit, “Up Down” with him, in front of 60,000 fans at State Farm Stadium. “I finished my show, and he asked me…and I was like, ‘Yep, I’ll do it!,’’ King recalls. “It’s been kind of a blur, but I’m trying to take it all in. I’m just unbelievably grateful to that team for letting me have the opportunity.” King has since been asked to join Wallen’s I’m The Problem Tour during upcoming dates in Seattle, Santa Clara, Cleveland, Foxborough, Toronto, and Edmonton. King also has a new collaboration with Bayker Blankenship, “Life Behind Bars,” set to drop this Friday (July 25). (Holler)
