Montfort man arrested for 6th offense OWI

A Montfort man was arrested for 6th offense OWI Thursday evening. A Grant County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Hwy 80 near New California Rd., in Clifton Township, after the vehicle almost struck another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction. 37-year-old Kalvin Riemenapp of Monfort showed signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested for 6th Offense Operating While Under the Influence. Riemenapp was also cited for Possessing an Open Intoxicant and Failure to Install an Interlock Ignition Device. He was transported to Grant Regional Health Center and then booked into the Grant County Jail
