Mineral Point man arrested for meth in Dodgeville

A suspicious vehicle in Dodgeville leads to a Mineral Point man being arrested on drug charges. Sunday afternoon, the Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a suspicious vehicle near County Road Z and Section Line Rd in Dodgeville. After initiating a traffic stop, 60-year-old Charles Barrett of Mineral Point was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine. Barrett was transported to the Iowa County Jail where he was booked on the charges.
