Shullsburg man arrested for 2nd offense OWI

Early Wednesday morning Lafayette County Deputies, Shullsburg Fire and Shullsburg EMS responded to Highway 11 in Shullsburg for a one-vehicle accident. 21-year-old Jhorshy B. Azurdia-Santos of Shullsburg was driving on Highway 11 when he crossed the center line, entered ditch, struck an embankment, and rolled 2-3 times. Azurdia-Santos received minor injuries. He was arrested and transported to the Lafayette County Jail and was booked and remains in custody for a Probation Violation, Operating While Intoxicated- 2nd Offense, and Operating After Revocation. He was cited for Failure to Maintain Control- 2nd Offense and Failure to Report an Accident.
