Sam Fender and Olivia Dean have reached a major UK chart milestone with Rein Me In. Billboard reported that the collaboration has spent 16 weeks at No. 1, making it the longest-running UK chart-topper by a British act.
The achievement moves the song past the previous 15-week record set by Wet Wet Wet with Love Is All Around in 1994. The new mark gives both artists a place in UK chart history while highlighting the song’s unusually strong staying power.
Rein Me In first appeared on Fender’s album People Watching before a revised version featuring Dean gave the track a new perspective. Their combined vocals helped the song connect with a wider audience and build momentum over time.
