No injuries from semi vs car crash in Grant County

Monday morning the Grant County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a car vs. semi-truck crash on Highway 151, in the north bound lanes of the construction zone, near mile marker 5, in Jamestown Township.  37-year-old Susan M. Weidemann of Dubuque, IA, attempted to use the Badger Road on ramp (which was under construction) as a passing lane. As a result, Weidemann encountered traffic cones and attempted to merge to the right, causing her to crash into a semi driven by 33-year-old Marquell A. Horton of Waterloo, IA.  The traffic barrier on the rear of the semi-trailer caused disabling damage to Weidemann’s vehicle. No injuries were reported.  The crash remains under investigation.
