Katy Perry shared a memorable moment with fan Clara Woods during an Aug. 26 screening of Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris at AMC The Grove in Los Angeles.
During the event, Woods presented the singer with a handmade painted portrait. Her brother explained that Woods experienced a perinatal stroke and cannot speak, read, or write, using art as an important form of communication and self-expression. Perry praised the painting and asked Woods if she could display it in her office before the two shared a hug.
The screening also included a surprise appearance from Perry during Firework, turning the theater into a dance party. She later took part in a live question-and-answer session focused on the concert film and her connection with fans.
