Kelly Osbourne has pushed back against Dee Snider after comments questioning the extent of Ozzy Osbourne’s involvement in writing lyrics throughout his career. In remarks shared on social media, Snider pointed to collaborators including Geezer Butler, Bob Daisley and Lemmy Kilmister as key contributors to songs associated with Ozzy.
The comments prompted a sharp response from Kelly Osbourne, who defended her father’s creative legacy and criticized the timing of the discussion. In a message posted online, she argued that Ozzy’s decades of work, influence on heavy metal and lasting connection with fans remain central to how his career should be remembered.
Snider later clarified that he did not intend to disrespect Ozzy and said he remained an admirer of his music and career. Kelly continued to reject the criticism of her father’s songwriting role.
