A woman convicted in the “Slender Man” stabbing wants to restart the process for conditional release. Morgan Geyser is currently serving 40 years of mental health supervision for her role in the 2014 attack on a classmate in Waukesha. Geyser had previously been on release in the Madison area, but cut off her monitoring bracelet and left her group home in September of 2025. She was found a few days later and returned to a mental health facility. Geyser is allowed to request conditional release every six months, and this would allow doctors to evaluate her again as part of the request.
