Olivia Rodrigo Shares Support for My Chemical Romance Ahead of Anniversary Release

Rodrigo’s third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, has spent three nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The project recently received additional attention following the release of an Expectations remix featuring Chappell Roan.

Meanwhile, My Chemical Romance released a 20th-anniversary edition of The Black Parade on October 23, featuring bonus tracks and live recordings.

The original album reached No. 2 in 2006, making the anniversary release another significant moment in the band’s history.

With both artists enjoying renewed attention, their latest chart activity highlights the continued connection between contemporary pop and alternative rock.
