A lawsuit against Dollar General. The Federal Trade Commission, the Wisconsin Department of Justice and 19 other states are suing the deep discount retailer claiming Dollar General routinely charges customers more at the register than prices displayed on shelves, price tags and advertisements. The lawsuit claiming Dollar General has repeatedly mislabeled prices and overcharged consumers and failed to correct the alleged issues for years despite corporate knowledge of the problem. The Wisconsin DOJ says this has cost consumers here and elsewhere millions of dollars.
