When Lancaster High School opens the 2021 football season, they will have a new head coach on the sidelines. John Hoch, who has coached at Lancaster for 39 years is retiring. Under Hoch, Lancaster has become one of the premier high school football programs in Wisconsin. The Flying Arrows have won seven state championships and have been runners-up four times. The Flying Arrows have made the playoffs every year since 1993. Hoch had a career record of 327-117 and is sixth on the state’s all-time wins list. Hoch has also served as Athletic Director at Lancaster High School and spent two terms as Wisconsin Football Coaches Association President.
