Lafayette County Man Arrested on 4th OWI Charge

A man from Darlington has been arrested for his 4th offense of Operating White Intoxicated. According to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, 31 year old Rodimiro Gutierrez-Santacruz was arrested Sunday just after midnight when he lost control of his vehicle on County Highway F in Fayette Township. The vehicle left the roadway and came to rest in an embankment. Blanchardville Fire and EMS responded to the scene. No injuries were reported. In addition to a 4th OWI offense, Gutierrez-Santacruz was also arrested for Operating while Revoked, and failure to install an Ignition Interlock device. Gutierrez-Santacruz was taken to the Lafayette County Jail where he remains in custody.
