Illinois Man Injured in ATV Accident in Lafayette County

Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to the Cheese County Trail in Willow Springs Township for an ATV accident Thursday around 7pm.  63 year old Wayne Uskali of Oakwood Hills, Illinois was traveling south on the trail when he lost control of his ATV, causing it to exit the trail and roll over.  The ATV had severe damage and was towed from the scene. Uskali was taken to Upland Hills Hospital in Dodgeville and later transferred to Madison. Uskali was cited for Careless Operation of an ATV. Mineral Point EMS and Fire assisted at the scene.
