A man from Dubuque man has been sentenced to nearly six months in jail for sexually abusing a girl in Jo Daviess County. 24 year old Matthew Adams of Dubuque was sentenced to 180 days imprisonment and two years of probation in Jo Daviess County Circuit Court after pleading guilty to a charge of criminal sexual abuse. Adams’ time in jail will begin December 12th. A report says that Adams sexually abused a girl age 13 to 17 in December. The report also states that he removed her pants without her permission and by the use of force sexually abused her.
