Southwest Wisconsin Bank Purchased by Apple River State Bank

A Darlington bank has been purchased by Apple River State Bank. The branch on Wells street in Darlington was originally Citizens National Bank of Darlington and has been the home of five regional banks since, most recently Associated Bank which closed in 2020. The new bank is anticipated to open next year after remodeling. This is Apple River State Bank’s 8th location.
