Grant County emergency responders land $110,000 in grants

Grant County emergency responders recently received more than $110,000 in federal funds to put toward new equipment and training.  Lancaster EMS received a $54,636 regional grant for training by Southwest Wisconsin Technical College. EMS departments from Lancaster, Cassville, Dickeyville and Hazel Green will benefit from the training, among other county departments. Boscobel EMS received $16,000 to purchase eight portable radios.
