Southwest Tech Receives $50,000 Donation

Southwest Wisconsin Technical College in Fennimore has received $50,000 to put toward student enrichment opportunities. Compeer Financial made the donation as part of a larger $600,000 investment into community and technical colleges across its 144-county territory. According to officials at Southwest Tech, the funds will go toward programming and materials for the college’s mobile agriculture lab and support for its livestock judging teams. The mobile agriculture lab will make on-site visits to area high school and community events throughout the year to better inform the community about opportunities in agriculture.
