An event later this month will connect unemployed or underemployed veterans with local employers. Tri States Veterans Network will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 25, at Dimensional Brewing. Area employers will discuss opportunities with their businesses. Representatives of Iowa Works, Northeast Iowa Community College, University of Dubuque and other area educational institutions will discuss training and educational opportunities. Food will be provided by the John Deere Dubuque Works Military Employee Resource Group.
