The Packers’ decision comes the day after several professional sports teams throughout the country decided to forgo their scheduled games.
The Arizona Cardinals, Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Chargers, New York Jets, Tennessee Titans and Washington Football Team all decided to not take the field Thursday.
On Wednesday, the Milwaukee Bucks and Brewers both decided against playing games scheduled for Wednesday night in protest of the Kenosha shooting.
Blake was shot by police, apparently in the back, on Sunday as he leaned into his SUV, three of his children seated inside. The Detroit Lions canceled their practice Tuesday, protesting the incident involving Blake, and racial injustice.
