Avelo Airlines Will Not Originiate Flights From Dubuque in 4th Quarter of 2024

Avelo Airlines informed the Dubuque Regional Airport on Monday that Dubuque will not be included in Avelo’s flight schedule for the fourth quarter of 2024. Avelo had planned to resume direct flights from Dubuque to Orlando in November but said aircraft availability and increasing costs at Orlando International Airport factored into the decision. Conversations with Avelo regarding service in 2025 are ongoing as well as discussions with other airlines to explore new flights and destinations at the Dubuque Regional Airport.
