On Friday, July 5, 2024 at 5:45 A.M., 19 year old Spencer Meyer-Steiger of Bloomington, was driving his Dodge Ram truck north on Gasner Hollow Road in Wyalusing Township, when he was driving too fast on the gravel for a left curve. Meyer-Steiger failed to keep his vehicle under control while negotiating the curve. Meyer-Steiger drove into the east ditch, down a steep embankment, struck some large rocks and rolled the truck. The truck came to rest on the driver’s side. Meyer-Steiger was wearing his seat belt and received a minor hand injury. Meyer-Steiger was cited for Driving too fast for Conditions. B&M Towing of Bloomington removed the truck from the scene, which was a total loss.
