Belmont Man Arrested For Several Traffic Violations

A 35 year old man from Belmont, Olvin Avila-Ortez was arrested for Operating after Revocation, Bail Jumping-2nd Offense, Failure to Install an Ignition Interlock Device-2nd offense and Resisting or Failure to Stop on Saturday around 10:45pm. Avila-Ortez was also cited for a Defective Tail Lamp and Violation of Child Safety Restraint. Avila-Ortez was taken to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and currently remains in custody.
