Monroe Man Pleads Guilty To Child Sexual Assault Charge

A Monroe man pleaded guilty to one count of felony child sex assault, while a second felony child sex assault charge against him was dismissed. Court records show Andrew Swanston, 33, entered the guilty plea to a count of first-degree child sexual assault-sexual contact or sexual intercourse with a person under age 13. A charge of first-degree child sexual assault-intercourse with a person under age 12 was dismissed but read into the record.
