One Vehicle Accident in Lafayette County

A deputy with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to Highway 78 in Wiota Township Saturday around 11:15am for a one vehicle accident. 73 year old Terry Rasmussen of Darlington was traveling southbound on Highway 78 when he lost control of his vehicle and it left the roadway, entered a ditch and struck a fence. Rasmussen was uninjured and his vehicle had minor damage and was driven from the scene.
