New District Attorney For Crawford County

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers has appointed a new Crawford County district attorney. The appointment of Andrew Burdick fills a vacancy created by the recent appointment of Lukas Steiner to the Crawford County Circuit Court. Burdick will serve the remainder of Steiner’s term as district attorney, which ends in January 2025. Burdick has been serving as an assistant district attorney in the La Crosse County District Attorney’s Office since July of 2023. According to a report, Burdick previously was a criminal defense lawyer in southwest Wisconsin, working predominantly in Crawford and Grant counties.
