The City of Platteville is warning residents to be cautious of voter registration drives. These organizations are not affiliated with the City of Platteville and while most organizations are legitimate, this is also an area of opportunity for scammers. Be aware that voter registration requires personal information such as your date of birth and driver’s license number. Never give personal information to anyone you don’t know and trust. If you have not moved or changed your name and have voted in the last four years you are probably already registered.
