Car vs Deer Crash With Injury

Deputies with the Green County Sheriff’s Department, along with the Browntown Fire Department and Green County EMS, responded to a car vs. deer crash with injury around 6:30am Saturday on Highway 11, in the Town of Cadiz.  An investigation found that 27 year old Amy  Lopez of South Wayne was traveling eastbound when a deer entered the road and collided with Lopez’s vehicle.  Lopez reported that she was wearing her seatbelt.   Lopez’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.  Lopez was later taken to a hospital for further medical evaluation.
