UTV Accident On Cheese Country Trail

Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to the Cheese Country Trail in Gratiot Township for an ATV accident. 53 year old Stuart Caravello of Medinah, IL was traveling eastbound on the Cheese County Trail in a UTV at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his UTV. Carvello went into the ditch and came to rest. Caravello was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Caravello was cited for Operating a UTV while intoxicated and Operating a UTV at an Unreasonable Speed.
