Harris Visits Ripon, Wisconsin With Liz Cheney

Vice President Kamala Harris returned to Wisconsin Thursday and brought with her a former Congresswoman who’s a Republican. Liz Cheney joined the vice president at her campaign event in Ripon, the birthplace of the Republican Party. Cheney, the former Wyoming representative, has already endorsed Harris for president. She also said her father, former Republican Vice President Dick Cheney, has endorsed Harris. Cheney said Harris is standing in the breach at a critical moment in our nation’s history, as our republic faces a threat unlike any we’ve faced before — a former president, Donald Trump, who tried to stay in power and refused to accept the results of the 2020 election.
