Construction Begins Soon On Dickeyville Park

Construction will soon start on the next phases of improvements at the Dickeyville Park. Hazel Green-based Owen’s Excavating and Trenching will start work within the next two weeks. The goal is to be open by June 1, 2025. Dickeyville Park Foundation president Cheryl Kieler says the park was overdue for a makeover. A new 5,000-square-foot playground will include multiple slides, swings and monkey bars. There will also be a splash pad with a 2,200-square-foot wet area and a dozen pieces of equipment.
