Brooks & Dunn are set to release their guest star-studded new album, Reboot II, on Friday (November 15). That record is filled with modern reinterpretations of their classic country songs, done alongside contemporary stars working in tandem with the music legends. The last album of all original music that Brooks & Dunn released was their beloved 2007 record, Cowboy Town, but the long wait for new music from the duo might finally be over soon. “We’ve been working on it for quite a while now,” Ronnie Dunn revealed. “Just stacking songs up.” The modern music landscape has made the duo feel less rushed to churn out a new album, which is apparently 75% finished. “Now, as opposed to back when we were on that perpetual corporate treadmill of having to put out a record a year and do all this, we’re able to sit back and take our time,” Dunn says. “I’m excited about where we land.” (Holler)
