‘Sinners’ Dominates Critics Choice Awards With 17 Nominations

Sinners leads the 2026 Critics Choice Awards film nominations with 17 nods, just one short of Barbie’s record 18 nominations from two years ago. One Battle After Another follows with 14 nominations, while Hamnet and Frankenstein each received 11. On TV, Adolescence led with six nods, followed by Nobody Wants This with five and four-time nominees All Her Fault, Death by Lightning, Ghosts, Hacks, Severance, The Diplomat and The Pitt. The Critics Choice Association added four new categories this year: best variety series, stunt design, casting/ensemble and sound.
