Gov. Evers issues state of emergency following storms from Tuesday

Help to rebuild is on the way after severe storms hit Wisconsin. After two days of turbulent weather around the state, Governor Tony Evers signed an executive order Wednesday declaring a state of emergency. The order seeks to guarantee communities affected by damaging winds, record rainfall, and widespread flooding the ability to repair infrastructure and maintain essential services. The governor signed the order while visiting Union Center in Juneau County where an EF-3 tornado touched down Tuesday night. The National Weather Service also confirmed Tuesday night tornadoes in Beaver Dam in Dodge County, Endeavor in Marquette County, Mount Hope in Grant County, Sussex in Waukesha County, East Troy in Walworth County, and Waterford in Racine County.
