Stagecoach Festival was briefly evacuated Saturday night after strong winds moved through the festival grounds in Indio, California, interrupting the evening schedule and delaying performances.
Organizers announced the evacuation through on-site screens and the festival app, directing attendees to leave the grounds as a safety precaution. The message came during a night that included major country music performances and large crowds across the venue.
The festival later reopened after conditions improved, allowing the night’s programming to continue. Lainey Wilson’s headlining set was delayed but still took place after attendees were allowed back inside.
