Bob Middendorf grew up on his family’s dairy and livestock farm near Galena in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. He studied broadcasting at Brown Institute of Broadcasting in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He got involved in farm broadcasting in the early 1980’s, working in Dubuque, Iowa and later for a Farm Network based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He joined WGLR Radio in 1998. Bob is a member of the National Association of Farm Broadcasting. He has two grown daughters, Tracy and Kati.
Bob has hosted tours to Alaska, Hawaii, New England, California, Ireland, Germany, Florida, Louisiana, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, Panama, Nashville, New Orleans and more!
