The United States Hockey league has announced an expansion to the west coast. A memorandum of understanding establishes member clubs in Arizona, California, and Nevada. An announcement about member club principals, markets, and timelines will be made on Wednesday, June 24. The last league expansion was in 2014 when the Madison Caitols joined. There are currently 16 member clubs including the Dubuque Fighting Saints, Cedar Rapids Rough Riders, Madison Capitols, and Green Bay Gamblers.
