A Platteville business announced Monday it is suspending operations due to a number of employees testing positive for COVID-19. In a letter from HyPro, company officials said they were first made aware of the test results on April 26th – and immediately shut the plant down. The entire HyPro plant was disinfected and sanitized last week. Employees and their direct-contact family members were scheduled to go through additional testing Monday. Officials say the current plan is to resume operations at HyPro on May 11th. No figures were given regarding the total number of team members who have tested positive so far.
