Lafayette County authorities along with Wiota Fire and First Response and Argyle EMS responded to Highway 78 in Wiota for a motorcycle accident Sunday just after 4pm. 54 year old James Killian of Stoughton was traveling north on Highway 78 on his motorcycle when he attempted to negotiate a curve and drifted into the gravel. Killian than struck the embankment and a sign post, throwing him into the ditch and his motorcycle to rest on the roadway. Killian had minor injuries and was taken to a hospital and his motorcycle had severe damage and was towed from the scene.
