National Weather Service Rules A Tornado Touched Down in Grant County

The National Weather Service in La Crosse confirms a quick EF0 tornado passed near the intersection of Highway 133 and County Highway N between Potosi and Cassville. The path length was about a half mile with estimate peak winds of 85 MPH. The tornado caused damage to farm buildings, trees and power lines. The National Weather Service also reported winds of 60 MPH near Platteville and Darlington.
